It all begins with you. About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Emerging Middle Market Business Development Representative within Commercial Banking
This key position can office with our team in El Segundo, Century City or Long Beach Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.In this role, you will:Prospect companies with annual revenue typically between $25-$100MM; we have significant opportunity to bring Commercial Banking capabilities to more Wells Fargo clientsTarget establishing complete C&I relationships that are comprised of treasury, deposit and credit solutions; and our general guidance is you should move to focusing more on C&I and less IRE over time in most marketsPartner with Commercial Relationship Managers to cross sell appropriate products and services, prioritize prospects, develop pursuit strategy, create proposals, manage new customer acquisitions, and onboarding process for customersIncreases Wells Fargo's and the Commercial Bank's relevance to prospective customers and product partners for new business opportunities through consistent marketing efforts and delivery of value added ideasParticipate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Commercial Banking Business Development functional areaMeet business objectives while leveraging solid understanding of functional area operations, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with Commercial Banking Business Development peers, colleagues, and middle level managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsLead Commercial Banking Business Development projects and teams, or serve as a mentor for less experienced individualsRequired Qualifications:4+ years of Emerging Middle Market Business Development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Proven track record and experience in direct sourcing and prospecting new clientsCommercial or Middle Market account relationship management experienceEstablished network in the local marketExisting local in-market network to fuel business developmentExperience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areasTreasury Management product knowledgeExperience building relationships with community organizations and key community influencersProven ability to develop and execute a sales strategyExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsEffective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills Proficient with MS Technology Platforms (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)Credit acumen demonstrated through educationRisk management experience to include understanding of the responsibility to protect sensitive informationParticipation in an industry group or organization that aligns with Wells Fargo's support of Diversity, Equity & InclusionBachelors degreePay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position
