Lead Fence Installer - Veterans Fence and Supply

Veterans Fence & Supply is a dynamic fence company based in Bloomingdale. We specialize in a wide range of fencing solutions, and bring expertise and innovation to every project. From residential to commercial installations, we're dedicated to delivering superior craftsmanship and exceeding expectations. We are looking for an Lead Fence Installer that can train and manage our Install Team. Join us as we transform properties and communities with our trusted fencing services!

Pay: $20-$30/hr (based on experience)

Hours:

• Monday-Thursday daytime schedule, Fridays depending on job progress. Evenings and weekends are for your family and friends

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• A valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Dependability is a must
• Proven leadership experience
• 3-5 years of construction/fence building experience required

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (typically up to 80 lbs)
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Experience in construction and carpentry required
• Knowledge of frame carpentry required
• Welding techniques preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with concrete forming and finishing preferred
• Certification in welding or carpentry is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Effective organizational, time management and planning skills
• Consistently work at a productive pace
• Focus on superior outcomes, and calibrate work processes for outstanding results
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
