We currently have a Lead Field Service Technician role open. The main function of this position is to commission Honeywell control systems – HVAC, Fire and security control systems. These control systems are engineered by Honeywell’s in-house engineers, installed by Electrical Sub Contractors and then commissioned by Honeywell Field technicians in commercial buildings (office buildings, schools, universities, airports, hospitals, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
• Automation and Controls Service
• Maintain equipment, and respond to and resolve service calls, providing technical support and troubleshooting for Honeywell customers.
• The products serviced include large commercial HVAC automation and controls systems and the computer networks associated with these systems.
• Technical delivery of small service jobs, time and material work, and preventative maintenanceYOU MUST HAVE:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience with building automation systems and HVAC
• 1+ years’ experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet browsers.
• Abilities for troubleshooting of electrical wiring, interlock wiring & software programming if required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a security background investigation.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and diagrams.
• Honeywell installed systems HVAC product knowledge.
• Able to work in a fast-paced delivery environment to meet schedules.
• Experience with system integration, networking, and software interfaces.
• Expert knowledge of HVAC systems, control systems, mechanical system operation and building facilities.
• Expert in any one area but possesses basic cross functional products and systems knowledge (HVAC, FIRE & SECURITY).
• Expert network and integration abilities to be able to work on multiple protocols like BACnet, Modbus, OPC, LON, etc.
• Ability to train, teach, mentor and coach Associate Install Technical Specialists and Install Technical Specialists and be the go-to person for complex system installations.
• Tridium/BACnet experience
• OSHA 10 certification
