Lava River Framing LLC is looking for a dedicated and experienced Lead Framing Carpenter to lead our framing crews on various construction projects. As a Lead Framing Carpenter, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, and maintaining a safe, organized job site. - Lead and Supervise Crews: Assisting the Foreman and managing framing crews on-site, ensuring all work is completed according to project plans, timelines, and company standards.
- Quality Control: Oversee the quality of all framing work, maintaining the meticulous attention to detail that Lava River Framing is known for.
- Safety Management: Enforce all safety protocols on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members and subcontractors.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the crew, project managers, and clients, providing clear and open communication to ensure project alignment.
- Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve any issues that arise during the framing process, finding solutions that keep projects on track.
- Resource Management: Organize and manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site to ensure efficient use of resources and minimal waste.
- Training and Development: Mentor and train crew members, promoting personal and professional growth in line with the company's values.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, safety incidents, and any changes to project plans.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in framing, with at least 1 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of framing techniques, tools, and safety regulations.
- Dependability: Proven track record of dependability and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Problem Solving: Ability to proactively identify challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical labor and work in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
