Inside Sales Assistant Job Description:
- Provide sales with high-quality leads.
- Cold call (generate new suspects and prospects) from company-provided lists and/or other sources.
- Make ~80-100 dials/day.
- Have 12-15 meetings with prospective clients/day.
- Set 3-5 solid, qualified appointments/week, every week.
- Call and follow up with existing prospects to check in and see if an appointment with a salesperson can be scheduled.
- Complete a survey and collect business intelligence on each call and enter the meeting into the CRM database.
- Assist the Marketing Lead Manager and/or the Marketing Production Coordinator with special projects and other marketing functions as directed.
Inside Sales Assistant Requirements:
- Ability to type ~35 words/minute a plus.
- Personable enough to build rapport with prospective clients during the first phone call so that the client will follow up to provide feedback in the future.
- Ability to get through the "Gate-keeper" and reach C-level executives.
- Not easily discouraged.
- Basic understanding of the retail industry and problems faced by retailers.
- Understanding of our technology offerings and how they can help the retailers/clients you'll be contacting.
