About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join the Platform Integration Team within Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT)
You will join a transformational platform integration organization focused on the building and maintaining of standardized platforms across several hundred EFT (Enterprise Function Technology) applications and multiple vertical lines of business supporting the entire firm
You will focus on increasing efficiencies through automation and building automated capabilities resulting in observability of the EFT platforms. Platform Integration, within Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) focuses on scaled horizontal enterprise solutions that are stable, secure, and always on
This role be a part of a newly embedded horizontal function within EFT supporting multiple technology divisions
In this role, you will:Lead complex, broad impact initiatives including provision of high-level systems consultation for the technology teamsReview and analyze complex technical challenges, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, such as alternatives, enhancements, periodic systems reviews, or improvements to existing systemsMake decisions on technical changes and enhancementsConsult with engineering team on change design requiring solid understanding of technical process controls or standards that influence and drive new initiativesCollaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goalsHands on experience working with databases systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgresExperience in setting up review and analyze complex technical challenges which require in depth evaluation of problem such as understanding application architecture, analyzing dataHands on experience with two or more of the following tools: Splunk, AppDynamics, Elastic, Promethius, or Grafana.Working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and help translate these into technical requirements for the development teamMentoring junior team members and ensuring they adhere to determining software quality standardsManage project tasks using JIRACreate documentation and keep it currentRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of experience with one or more Cloud Platforms2+ years of experience with infrastructure automation (PowerShell, Python, Terraform or Ansible)2+ years of experience composing complex SQL queries2+ years of experience with CICD pipelines and respective toolset2+ years of experience with Agile, JIRA, SharePoint or ConfluenceDesired Qualifications:2+ years of experience with one of more Technology Platforms (Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), AWS, Azure, VMWare, Linux, Windows etc.)Knowledge and understanding of system deployment processes to multiple environment regionsKnowledge and understanding of relational database concepts, querying, data warehousing, ETL process, requirements gathering and/or decision support toolsKnowledge of Middleware systemsKnowledge of cloud technologiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience working in an agile environmentStrong knowledge of ServiceNow incidents, problems, change, and CMDB modulesJob Expectations:This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.This position offers a hybrid work schedule.Relocation assistance is not available for this positionAbility to travel up to 5% of the timeNY- New York Pay Range: $133,300 – 237,100 AnnuallyTX- Westlake Pay Range: $111,100 -- 197,500 AnnuallyPay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position
