Lead Installer / Carpenter - Windows - MTM LLC

Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Installer / Carpenter to join our window company. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in window installation, carpentry, and team leadership. This role requires exceptional craftsmanship, project management skills, and a dedication to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of installers, ensuring efficient and quality execution of window installation projects. Provide training and mentorship to team members.
• Installation: Perform and oversee the installation of windows, including residential and commercial types. Ensure installations meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Carpentry: Conduct carpentry work related to window installations, including framing, trimming, and finishing. Customize installations as needed to fit unique structures and designs.
• Project Management: Plan and coordinate installation projects, manage timelines, and ensure that all materials and tools are available and in good condition. Communicate project status and any issues to the Installation Manager.
• Quality Control: Inspect completed installations to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations. Address any deficiencies promptly and efficiently.
• Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact on job sites, addressing customer questions, concerns, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Safety: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs, installation checklists, and customer feedback. Report any discrepancies or issues to the Installation Manager.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges promptly. Provide innovative solutions to unique installation problems.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in carpentry or construction is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in window installation and carpentry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
