The outpatient rehabilitation sports lead physical therapist is responsible for:

• Evaluation and therapeutic intervention for persons with illnesses or injuries, which impede independent functioning of mobility, activities of daily living, cognitive thinking, and/or vocation.
• In addition the sports lead therapist is responsible for assisting the center manager in overseeing the sports medicine program
• This position entails physical therapy responsibilities in a fast paced outpatient clinic, with orthopedic and sports medicine patient population.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy
• NYS Physical Therapist license and registration required.
• BLS certification
• At least 2 years of outpatient experience with a focus on orthopedic/sports medicine is recommended.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
