Lead Sanitation Operator - Stratas Foods

Stratas Foods was formed in October 2008 as a 50/50 joint venture between ACH Food Companies (ACH) and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM).

3rd Shift Position with overtime as required 

Qualified sanitation operator candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be able to work their bid shift, overtime, and weekends as required. Work with a small team to keep the plant and equipment very clean and audit ready.

The tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, sanitation, and other duties as assigned by supervision.

1. Proper break down of equipment, cleaning, and reassembling pumps, sanitary lines, and line equipment.

2. Operation of CIP skids in addition to breakdown and cleaning of line components. 

3. Knowledge of chemical handling procedures including PPE required.

4. Completion on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual MSS items.

5. Communicate with supervisor when equipment needs attention.

6. Report/resolve any observed quality issues while cleaning equipment.

7. Ability to follow GMP and Stratas policies. 

8. Facility cleaning including floor, drain, and overhead cleaning 

9. Act as back up for sanitation supervisor as needed

10. Ensure CIPs are completed for production needs.

11. Ensure team compliance with GMP, safety, and food safety policies

Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent

Related Experience: Previous relevant experience preffered, preferably in a manufacturing environment or commercial cleaning. 

Equipment/Software Skills:  Basic computer knowledge - data

Physical:  Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work with heights

Hours: 8:00pm - 6:30am  off on Wed nights and Saturday nights (with flexibility needed); Overtime as needed
