We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Superintendent to join our fast-paced commercial construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of commercial construction projects from initial planning to completion. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Lead Superintendent will also be responsible for managing and leading a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and other staff.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Superintendent to join our fast-paced commercial construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of commercial construction projects from initial planning to completion. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Lead Superintendent will also be responsible for managing and leading a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and other staff.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of commercial construction projects from initial planning to completion.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Supervise and manage a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and other staff. This includes scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality of work.
- Resolve any issues or problems that may arise during construction.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management.
- Participate in project planning and budgeting processes.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the commercial construction industry.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and other related tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Must hold relevant certifications and licenses as required by local regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
