Lead Supervisor- Environmental Services and Engineering - Daughters of Miriam Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation

We are currently seeking a Lead Supervisor for Environmental Services and Engineering to join our team! The Lead Supervisor of Environmental Services and Engineering is responsible in assisting with the upkeep and repairs of the building and outside grounds of the facility.  This includes, but may not be limited to, mechanical equipment, HVAC systems, interior finishes, general routine repairs, emergency repairs, plumbing systems and their related equipment, furniture, fire alarm systems, nurses call systems, electrical equipment, new construction, and remodeling of existing areas. This position is also responsible for assisting with the coordination of housekeeping in the building.  This includes sanitation and scheduled/non-scheduled cleaning of all public and non-public areas and resident apartments.  This includes coordination of housekeeping staff, daily inspections, and development/implementation of preventative and responsive cleaning programs cleaning systems. The position is also a backup for transportation, and may require driving facility vehicles to transport tenants.

Essential Qualifications:

• High school graduate, valid Ohio Driver’s License, and 3 years minimum experience in general building maintenance.
• Sensitivity to senior adults and their needs.
• Ability to read blueprints and have a working knowledge of construction trades and building codes.
• Ability to establish accurate quotations for capital projects.
• Must be able to work within and track and maintain a budget.
• Must be able to prioritize work orders.
• Must be able to work in excess of 40 hours per week.
• Be able to develop policies and procedures related to operation.
• Be familiar with proper use of all types of hand and power tools.
