Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Metal Fabricator to be a leader in supervising our dynamic steel manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be involved in the fabrication of various metal structures and components, utilizing cutting-edge equipment and processes. This role requires precision and a keen eye for detail, contributing directly to the quality and safety of our final products.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to gauge material requirements and project timelines.
• Operate heavy machinery including hydrolic saw, shears, and bending machines for metal fabrication tasks.
• Measure, cut, and assemble metal pieces into structural forms according to specifications.
• Perform quality checks on fabricated metal structures to ensure compliance with AISCstandards.
• Coordinate with project managers and other team members to meet production deadlines and ensure client specifications are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with fabrication tools and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification (e.g., an apprenticeship in metal fabrication) preferred.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials.
