Salary Range: Generally starting at $4,000-$5,000 per 3-credit hour course. Pay rate is dependent upon education and experience of the lecturer. Compensation is prorated based on course credit hours. _This position is Exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions._

_Summary_
_The College of_ Engineering & Applied Science _at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers in_ Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) _from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made. Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be made semester-by-semester._
_This position will teach classes for the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Classes may be on-campus, online, or hybrid. Examples of courses/subject area include the following:_
+ _Problem solving with C,Python_
+ _Logic Circuit II – ECE2411_
+ _Circuits Analysis_
+ _Computer Architecture_
+ _ECE4280_5280_AdvanceVerificationMethodology_
+ _Signal Processing and Communications_
+ _Control systems_

+ _System Engineering_

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related area.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ A terminal degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related area
+ At least four months teaching experience.
+ Ability or interest in teaching online classes.
+ Relevant industry experience that includes current engagement in professional activities.
Physical Requirements:
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to move.
+ Employee is occasionally required to have long periods of sitting, moderate bending, and fine motor skills.
+ The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
