Our client is actively recruiting for an experienced paralegal/legal assistant to join their growing practice in Sugar Land.
The opportunity is with a well respected firm that specializes in public finance and municipal law on behalf of developers, local governments, and state agencies . The incoming paralegal/legal assistant will join an established tight-knit team and handle a myriad of engaging responsibilities related to the development of municipal utility and special purpose districts. Interested candidates must have 2+ years of experience in a similar setting and a desire to collaborate directly with the firm's partners and clients on district creation matters. Job responsibilities include:

- Regulatory compliance and administration tracking

Job Details
Interested applicants should have a previous experience as a legal assistant or paralegal and display a consistent work history. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Additional Qualifications:
- 3+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably in a large firm
- Experience with digital file management systems
- Previous experience working with Texas Water Districts
- Proficient knowledge of web-based file sharing systems (DropBox, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc)
- Experience with Clio, ProLaw, LeanLaw or Bill4Time billing software
