Probate Litigation Legal Assistant
Our client is a distinguished law firm with a robust trust and probate litigation practice, known for providing top-tier legal services. The firm is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Probate Litigation Legal Assistant to join their Dallas team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to support high-level litigation work in a collaborative and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in managing a caseload of trust and probate litigation matters.
- Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery.
- Maintain case files and ensure that documents are organized and readily accessible.
- Schedule and coordinate depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
- Communicate with clients and provide updates on case status as needed.
- Conduct legal research and compile findings for attorney review.
- Collaborate with the litigation team to support trial preparation and strategy.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in trust and probate litigation.
- Must reside or be willing to relocate to Dallas, Texas area
- Strong understanding of probate procedures, deadlines, and court filings.
- Proficiency in legal document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and problem-solving attitude, with high attention to detail.
