About the Job
Adams Martin Group is currently seeking a receptionist for a large law firm with a multi-state practice. This is an 8-week assignment, with the potential for permanent placement with the client. The position is fully on-site, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Key responsibilities include:
- Answering phones, directing calls, and greeting clients and visitors, while providing concierge services to both clients and firm members.
- Upholding the firm's reputation by maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ensuring the reception area is clean and organized, securing sensitive and valuable items.
- Coordinating and reserving conference rooms, managing the calendar accordingly.
- Keeping the supervisor updated on daily activities and any significant concerns.
- Notifying building security of visitors and submitting maintenance requests through the building's website as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent or higher
Previous experience as a receptionist or in an administrative support role, preferably within a law firm or legal environment.
Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is highly desirable.
