The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating exceptional communication skills, organizational skills, and client relationship management.
Responsibilities:
As a Legal Secretary, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to the smooth operation of our firm. Your duties will include:
1. Preparing, editing, and proofreading legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
2. Managing attorney calendars, scheduling meetings, court dates, and deadlines.
3. Liaising with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals in a professional manner.
4. Organizing and maintaining files and case documents, ensuring they are easily accessible and up-to-date.
5. Assisting with trial preparation, including assembling exhibits and witness files.
6. Conducting basic legal research as required.
7. Handling incoming and outgoing communication, including phone calls, emails, and mail.
8. Ensuring client confidentiality is maintained at all times.
