This role is ideal for someone with clerical experience who is eager to contribute to a dynamic legal environment, even without prior law firm experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and attended to
- Answer, screen, and forward phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Schedule appointments and manage the firm's calendar
- Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and professional
- Provide administrative support such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Assist with basic office tasks, including ordering office supplies and handling email correspondence
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person or office
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of clerical or administrative experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional demeanor and appearance
