Job Title: Licensed Clinical Abuse Counselor

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a licensed clinical abuse counselor with dual licensing as a Clinical Social Worker.  The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trauma-informed care, be licensed, and possess a passion for helping individuals overcome the effects of abuse.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for survivors of abuse, incorporating trauma-informed approaches.
2. Assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique experiences.
3. Collaborate with other professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive care.
4. Provide crisis intervention and support during challenging moments in the recovery process.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
2. Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Abuse Counselor and Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker
3. Proven experience in providing counseling services to survivors of abuse and trauma.
4. Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and evidence-based practices.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
