Job Title: Licensed Clinical Abuse Counselor

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a licensed clinical abuse counselor with dual licensing as a Clinical Social Worker. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trauma-informed care, be licensed, and possess a passion for helping individuals overcome the effects of abuse.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for survivors of abuse, incorporating trauma-informed approaches.
- Assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique experiences.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide crisis intervention and support during challenging moments in the recovery process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Abuse Counselor and Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker
- Proven experience in providing counseling services to survivors of abuse and trauma.
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and evidence-based practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
