Responsibilities
Duties:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts
- Manage a team of Commercial Lines Account Managers
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Assist clients with policy renewals, endorsements, and claims processes
- Conduct regular policy reviews to ensure clients have appropriate coverage
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms and conditions for new and existing policies
- Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance products
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager or similar role in the insurance industry
- Familiar with Applied Epic system preferred along with Office 365
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines
- Property and Casualty Licensed
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Proficient in using insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
