Licensed Plumbers needed (Hammond, LA) - Perpetual Labor Sourcing LLC

UNITED TRADES OF AMERICA is seeking highly skilled and experienced Licensed Plumbers to join our team. As a licensed Plumber you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings. You will work independently or as part of a team to ensure plumbing systems are installed and maintained according to industry standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing systems, installation techniques, and local codes and regulations. You will be responsible for reading blueprints, coordinating with other trades, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

JOB Location: Hammond, LA LOCALS ONLY

Pay Range: $25-$28, NO PER DIEM

MUST be licensed in Louisiana or a reciprocating state

Approximate Hours working: approximately 40-60 per week

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings to plan and execute plumbing installations and repairs.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, encompassing pipes, fixtures, valves, and fittings, adhering to local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and construction teams to seamlessly integrate plumbing systems into overall building plans.
• Perform comprehensive inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues, diagnose problems, and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
• Install and maintain water supply lines, sewage systems, and drainage systems with precision and efficiency.
• Conduct thorough testing of plumbing systems to detect leaks and ensure optimal functionality, making adjustments as required.
• Coordinate efforts with other tradespeople, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, to achieve harmonious project execution.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns related to plumbing systems.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of work performed, materials utilized, and time expended on each project.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in plumbing technology and techniques through continuous learning.
