Job Description
We are hiring an LPN! This position provides professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices. Responsible for patient flow and coordination of patient care. Receives lab results from home monitoring and outside labs enters into EMR provides INR results to patients with dosage instructions. Communicates with Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Cardiology Nurse Clinician, and home health nurses to provide best practice patient care. Screens patients for appropriate information. Greets patients and prepares them for examinations EKG. Screens patients for appropriate information. May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties as needed.
This position will be based at the North location but will float to multiple offices including Saint Luke's East , Plaza and South.
KS & MO LPN License required; if the ideal candidate does not possess dual licensure at time of offer, he/she may be given an offer contingent upon completion of dual licensure within 90 days of start.
Required:
• Dual licensure required- Missouri and Kansas State LPN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
Preferred:
• One year or more LPN experience preferred
