As a Per Diem LPN, you will provide essential nursing care to residents in long-term care settings. You'll be responsible for administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Monitor patients' physical and mental conditions
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Document patient care and prepare reports accurately
- Assist in implementing nursing care plans
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a state-approved practical nursing program
- Valid Mississippi LPN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience
- Ability to administer medications and treatments per standard procedures
- Strong patient monitoring skills
- Excellent communication abilities with patients, families, and staff
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
