Full Job Description

McKown Pressure Wash, Painting, and Contracting is looking for motivated Line Striping Crew Members to assist in the preparation and execution of traffic control striping projects. As part of the striping team, you'll work on highways, surface streets, and parking lots under the direction of the Foreman, ensuring safe and efficient project completion. No experience is necessary for entry-level positions, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.

• Assist in the preparation and execution of striping for traffic control, sign installation, and applying parking lot seal coat.
• Work as part of a crew on highway, surface street, and parking lot-based projects.
• Follow company and state guidelines for maintaining safe and effective work zones.
• Wear all required safety equipment at all times.
• Clean and prepare asphalt surfaces before applying striping materials.
• Safely handle striping equipment, including heavy machinery and hot thermoplastic materials.
• Follow all instructions given by the Foreman to ensure efficient project completion.
• Travel to various job sites as needed and maintain reliable transportation.
• Lift and move materials and equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain professional communication with the public and team members while working in high-traffic areas.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to work overtime, including days and nights.
• No prior experience required for entry-level positions; on-the-job training provided.
• Excellent attendance, dependable transportation, and a strong work ethic are a must.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, meeting Federal DOT requirements.
• Awareness of the hazards associated with roadway work and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including exposure to moving equipment, machinery parts, and airborne particles.
• Must be able to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
