Position Description: This position supports Linux/Unix Engineering Sustainment under ASRC Federal’s CECOM SETA Support within the PEO EIS MSP. The PEO EIS MSP ensures that the U.S. Army’s Linux/Unix systems are secure, reliable, and capable of supporting mission-critical operations. As a Software Engineer Senior II, you will contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of these systems, ensuring their optimal performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

* A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required.

* Certifications: DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II and applicable DoD 8570.01-M Computing Environment certification.

* Secret security clearance.

Required Skills:

* Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience as a Linux system administrator.

* Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 administration.

* Hands-on experience with Red Hat Pacemaker clusters.

* Experience operating RHEL servers in AWS cloud environments.

* Strong scripting skills (Shell, Bash, Python, or similar).

* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

* Effective communication and teamwork skills.

* Linux or other applicable Technical Certification.

Desired Skills:

* Knowledge of DoD security requirements and compliance (STIG/ACAS).

* Knowledge of ERP SAP environments.

* Working knowledge of ServiceNow.

* Experience working in an Agile Framework environment.

* Experience in performing RHEL upgrades.

* Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
