As a Litigation Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Managing all aspects of litigation matters from inception to conclusion, including trial preparation and courtroom representation.
2. Providing strategic legal advice and guidance on a wide range of civil and commercial litigation issues.
3. Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
4. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of legal documents and agreements with meticulous attention to detail.
5. Collaborating closely with internal teams and external counsel to ensure optimal litigation outcomes.
6. Ensuring strict compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
7. Staying abreast of emerging legal trends and developments to inform litigation strategies and risk management practices.
8. Participating in client meetings and consultations, providing clear and concise legal advice.
Qualifications
The successful candidate for the Permanent Litigation Associate position must possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil and commercial litigation.
3. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
4. Proven experience in litigation management and legal compliance.
5. Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
6. Exceptional research, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
8. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
9. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
