Their firm is seeking a talented and motivated Litigation Associate to join their litigation team.

Job Description:As a Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, working closely with senior attorneys, and providing support on a variety of litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have strong research, writing, and analytical skills, and an interest in business, commercial, trust & estate, and real estate litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on various litigation matters
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, motions, depositions, and trials
• Assist with all phases of litigation, including case strategy, pre-trial discovery, and trial preparation
• Review and analyze case documents, evidence, and deposition transcripts
• Participate in settlement discussions, negotiations, and mediations
• Work closely with clients, keeping them informed of case developments and providing legal guidance
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case management and trial strategy
• Stay current with changes in relevant laws and legal precedents

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission and current good standing with the California State Bar.
• Newly admitted attorneys to 5 years of experience
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Proven track record of strong performance
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to be a creative thinker and problem solver
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw) and Microsoft Office
