We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Personal Injury Attorney to join a law firm in downtown Houston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, with a proven ability to handle complex cases and deliver favorable results. This role requires a detail-oriented and strategic thinker who is committed to providing exceptional legal services and advocating for the rights of injured clients.
Salary: $100 - $150k
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of personal injury cases from inception through resolution, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and managing case files.
- Provide expert legal advice to clients, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in court proceedings as needed.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Work closely with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to ensure seamless case management and client service.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed about case progress and address any concerns or questions they may have.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation attorney, with a strong track record of successful case outcomes.
- Exceptional negotiation, litigation, and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Empathetic, detail-oriented, and dedicated to client advocacy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
