About the Job
Adams & Martin Group is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 3-6 years of experience to join a Downtown St. Louis law firm. As part of this national trial team, you will have hands-on involvement in all phases of litigation, including court appearances, while working alongside experienced attorneys in toxic tort and civil litigation cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of litigated claims, developing tailored defense strategies for trial
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and pretrial motions
- Analyze discovery, medical records, and expert defense strategies
- Research legal issues and conduct investigations into people, businesses, and worksites
- Draft legal documents such as briefs, memos, and client reports
Qualifications
- Active bar license in good standing in Missouri and Illinois (both required)
- 3-6 years of defense litigation experience (toxic tort experience is a plus)
- Extensive deposition experience
- Strong academic background
- Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines
- Client-focused mindset with a proactive, challenge-driven attitude
- Self-starter capable of handling multiple projects while maintaining flexibility within a collaborative team environment
