Job Description:

This position is designed for an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant who will provide vital administrative support to attorneys in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency while ensuring accuracy in all tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and manage legal documents, including engagement letters and expense reports.
• Handle billing and track billable hours.
• Assist with e-filing and maintain a solid understanding of civil procedure rules.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
• Organize and manage documents, leveraging a document management system.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant (paralegal experience is less preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Acrobat).
• Excellent typing skills (80+ wpm) and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment.

Additional Details:

• Direct hire position.
• Initial 100% onsite work for the first 90 days, transitioning to a hybrid schedule with one remote day per week.
• Business professional dress code required.
