Job Posting: Personal Injury Paralegal with 4+ Years of Litigation Experience

Location: Washington DC

Are you an experienced paralegal with a passion for personal injury law and a strong background in litigation? We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Personal Injury Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. If you have over four years of experience in the field, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist attorneys in managing personal injury cases from start to finish, ensuring all necessary documents and information are organized and readily available.

2. Conduct in-depth research on case laws, statutes, regulations, and legal precedents relevant to personal injury cases.

3. Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements under attorney supervision.

4. Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and assisting in gathering essential information.

5. Manage the discovery process, including document production, interrogatories, and requests for admissions.

6. Assist in preparing for trial, including organizing exhibits, coordinating with expert witnesses, and managing trial logistics.

7. Support attorneys with administrative duties, including calendar management, scheduling, and maintaining case files.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a paralegal in personal injury law with a strong focus on litigation.
• Proficiency in legal research using databases and research tools.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and pleadings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
