Litigation Paralegal

Position: Full-Time Litigation Paralegal with Medical Malpractice Litigation Experience

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct legal fact-finding and basic legal research.
• Review and analyze new matters, including ordering medical and other records.
• Assemble, review, and summarize records.
• Assist with case management, including the preparation and organization of legal documents for depositions and trials.
• Organize and electronically file pleadings.
• Assist attorneys with all aspects of trial preparation.
• Coordinate and schedule calendars.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience in a law office; a nursing or comparable healthcare background is a plus.
• 5+ years as a Litigation Paralegal.
• Must be a self-starter with excellent research skills using LexisNexis or Westlaw.
• Possess excellent writing skills and a high level of computer proficiency.
