Position: Legal Secretary - Business Litigation Department
Location: 100% On-Site - Irvine, CA
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
As a Legal Secretary in our business litigation department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys and ensuring the seamless management of litigation cases. Your essential duties will include:
- Communications Mastery: Serve as the primary point of contact for attorneys, managing phone calls and correspondence with clients, opposing counsel, and witnesses.
- Documentation Excellence: Type, proofread, and file all case-related documents, ensuring they meet stringent litigation standards.
- Court Document Review: Meticulously review court documents and orders for critical deadlines and compliance.
- Document Production Management: Oversee the processes for document production, both in hard copy and electronic formats.
- E-Filing Expertise: Handle e-filing and service of pleadings, ensuring all documentation is filed correctly with state, federal, and appellate courts using platforms like One Legal and File & Serve Xpress.
- Drafting & Coordination: Create a variety of litigation documents, including pleadings and discovery, while coordinating depositions and attorney schedules.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- 5-7 years of solid legal experience in litigation, particularly in civil or business litigation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Pro, and familiarity with Excel.
- The ability to independently format pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
- Experience with litigation calendaring and electronic calendar systems.
- A proven track record of managing e-filing and service of documents in various court systems.
- Prior trial experience is a plus!

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday
