We are seeking a self-starting Lobbying Compliance Attorney to join our dynamic Government Relations team in Washington, D.C. If you have a deep understanding of lobbying compliance law and at least 8 years of experience, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you will work on key areas including:
Campaign finance lobbying and reporting
Lobbying compliance and reporting
Lobbying Disclosure Act (LDA)
Honest Leadership and Open Government Act (HLOGA)
Lobbyist registration and reporting
State and local lobbying laws
Audits and tax compliance
Corporate political activity
Election-related litigation
Pay-to-play laws
Congressional ethics
PACs
Gifts and entertainment
Conflicts of interest
We are looking for someone with outstanding writing and editing skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to balance multiple priorities while demonstrating excellent research and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as this role requires both independent work and collaboration within a team-oriented environment. The ability to engage with clients and government officials in a mature and professional manner is also critical.
