Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care has partnered with a school district to hire a 1:1 school nurse to work in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a school professional with SHC, you'll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals who understand schools and your unique needs as a School-based RN.
1:1 School Classroom Nurse Contract Details:
- $33.50 - $36 per hour
- This is a one-to-one nurse position to provide medical care to a student throughout the school day based on the student's medical diagnosis and care plan
- Contract is for the current school year
- The nurse will be expected to follow medical care plans and medical orders IEP/504 plans and provide effective and pertinent information to the special education team and student caregivers
- Nurse will be expected to complete daily documentation
- RN will be matched to student based on the nurse's medical acuity experience
- 1:1 school nurse position may include bus runs, field trips, care for students with certain health diagnoses/requirements such as but not limited to behavioral care, seizures, diabetes, allergies, asthma, trach care, vent care, and g-tubes

Requirements:
- Pennsylvania RN License
- American Heart Association BLS
- Prior school setting or pediatrics experience
