Job Title: School PsychologistLocation: North Dighton, MAEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob Description:I am seeking a qualified and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team. The School Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services to students, including evaluations, counseling, and consultation with staff and families. The ideal candidate will work closely with the educational team to support students' emotional, behavioral, and academic needs, ensuring they succeed in a positive and inclusive school environment.Key Responsibilities:Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.Develop and assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.Provide individual and group counseling for students with emotional and behavioral challenges.Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop interventions and strategies that promote student well-being and academic success.Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including IEP meetings, and provide recommendations based on student evaluations and assessments.Offer crisis intervention and mental health support as needed.Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data-driven results.Provide training and consultation to school staff on issues related to mental health, behavior management, and learning disabilities.Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.Advocate for a positive school climate and promote social-emotional learning initiatives.Qualifications:Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist certification or licensure.Experience providing psychological services in a school setting is preferred.Strong skills in evaluation, counseling, and consultation.Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Supportive work environment with access to resources for psychological services.If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and believe in the power of education to change lives, I invite you to apply today.I’d be so happy to hop on the line with you and discuss your career goals.
