Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)Location: Burlington, MAEmployment Type: Full-Time/Part-TimeJob Description:We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide evaluation, diagnosis, and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders. The SLP will work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving students’ communication abilities and enhancing their academic and social success.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring speech-language services.Provide direct therapy in both individual and group settings, targeting areas such as speech articulation, language development, fluency, voice, and social communication.Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to integrate speech-language goals into the classroom environment.Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment goals and methods as necessary to ensure continued growth.Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and insights to support each student's educational plan.Provide consultation and training to teachers and families on strategies to support students’ communication development in the classroom and at home.Maintain accurate records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations (IDEA).Stay current with best practices and emerging research in the field of speech-language pathology.Qualifications:Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Valid Massachusetts SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).Experience working with children in a school setting, preferred but not required.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Passion for supporting the communication development and overall success of students.Benefits:Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System (MTRS) participation.Supportive school environment with access to modern therapy tools and resources.I’d be so happy to hop on the line with you and discuss your career goals.
