Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)Location: Freedom, NHEmployment Type: Full-Time/Part-TimeJob Description:I am seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students in grades PreK-12. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders, working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to ensure that students achieve their academic and social communication goals.Key Responsibilities:Conduct assessments to identify and diagnose speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in students.Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), for students with communication challenges.Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings, addressing areas such as articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language, and social communication.Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and administrators to integrate communication strategies into the students’ daily learning environment.Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy approaches as needed to ensure continuous improvement.Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on goals, accommodations, and services needed to support student success.Provide consultation and training for teachers and parents to support communication development in the classroom and at home.Stay informed of best practices and current trends in speech-language pathology.Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).Qualifications:Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Valid New Hampshire SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).Experience in a school setting is preferred.Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support student needs.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Supportive school community with access to the latest therapy tools and resources.If you’re willing to help, you can reach me at my direct line at 843-502-5095.
