Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Neonatal in Altoona, PA at Austin Major Group

We are seeking 1-2 additional Advanced Practice Providers (NP or PA) to assist with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and nursery coverage starting January 6, 2025. You will be responsible for in-house coverage, attending deliveries, and managing urgent patient issues, but no pediatric floor coverage is required.

Key Details:

• Shifts: 24-hour shifts (7 per month)
• Coverage: NICU & nursery (no pediatric floor coverage)
• On-Call: In-house, available for deliveries and urgent patient issues
• Location: Pennsylvania
• EMR System: Cerner
• Support: Call room available for providers
• Travel: Airfare, lodging, and rental car provided

Requirements:

• Board Certified
• Active Pennsylvania State License
• Minimum Years of Experience: 1
• Credential needed: NP or PA, board certified • Neonatology -neonatal nurse practitioners, with experience
• BLS; CPR; PALS Required
