Job Details:

• Coverage: Ongoing
• Specialty: MD/DO Anesthesiology
• Shift: Monday – Friday; Mix of available shifts (8, 10, 12, 24), client prefers candidates with flexibility to work varying shifts, schedule made one month in advance; no call or weekends
• Setting: Hospital – 496 Bed Medical Center – 20 OR’s – 5 Outpatient Surgery Center Rooms
• Daily Responsibilities: General surgery, colorectal, pediatrics, endocrine, surgical oncology, vascular, endovascular, and more; OB to include labor epidurals, and GI candidates stick to their assigned room each day performing their own cases, but facility does employ CRNA’s as well - candidates should be comfortable with the rare occurrence of needing to assist
• Call Schedule/Responsibilities: No Call but if interested, they may discuss
• PPD/Census: Depends on shift and area designated
• Number of Providers Per Shift & Support Staff: In the OR/L&D doing own cases but other Anesthesiologist out of room; Minimal CRNA supervision, if any
• EMR: EPIC
• Credentialing Time frame –– Timeline is 12 weeks from the time application is submitted as target start but could start sooner depending on how quickly credentialing is completed
• Will a licensing candidate be considered: No – California License required
• Is Telemed: No
• Is Telemed Onsite: Yes
• Housing/Travel Accommodations: Prefer local candidates

Requirements

• Active Unrestricted CA License – required
• Active BLS certification
• Board Certified
• Vaccination Requirement: Required
• Must have clean malpractice
