**Must-Have:**
- Regional anesthesia proficiency required
- Negotiable call schedule
- Mostly CRNA supervision with some solo cases
- Available for 2 continuous weeks per month of full-time hours
**Job Description:**
- Level 2 trauma center
- Ongoing opportunity with the option to convert to full-time
- No heart surgeries
- Variety of surgical cases including:
- Cardiac
- Complete Ortho
- Complex Vascular
- Head and Spine
- Neuro
- OB
- Pediatric
- Regional
- Thoracic
- Specialty skills preferred:
- General, Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal Anesthesia
- Trauma and Spinal Anesthesia
- Epidural and Regional Anesthesia
- Obstetrical and Neurosurgical Cases
- Thoracic, Complex Vascular, and Orthopedic Cases
- Pain Management Techniques
- Post-op Epidural and Extremity Blocks
- Epidural Steroids for Lumbar and Cervical
- Transforaminal Procedures
- Use of X-ray guidance in performance of blocks
- Ventilation management
- Acute volume/BP issues management
- Central, Arterial, and PA Catheter Line Placement
- CRNA Supervision
**Additional Information:**
The position can begin as soon as the candidate is credentialed (approximately a 2-3 month process)
The site requires commitment for 2 continuous weeks per month with full-time hours
Patient encounters per shift and beds in the department are to be determined.
