We are seeking a Locums Gastroenterology Physician to join our team in Bay City, MI. This position involves providing comprehensive gastroenterology care in a hospital setting with weekday and weekend coverage.
The schedule for this role is from Monday 7:00 AM to Friday 7:00 PM, including on-call responsibilities during the weekdays. Weekend requirements include 24-hour call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, but there are no additional weekend call duties beyond this timeframe.
Key responsibilities for this position include providing inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology consultations, diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal conditions, and performing required procedures such as Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). The physician will manage a variety of gastrointestinal cases, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to best practices. The role also involves collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to support patient needs, including providing on-call coverage during designated shifts.

Requirements:
- Must be Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Board Eligible candidates will not be accepted).
- A valid Michigan state medical license is required. Candidates with the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) will be considered if the dates are 60+ days out, with proof of Letter of Qualification (LOQ) for IMLC.
- Active DEA license is required.
- COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory.
- Must have experience in performing ERCP procedures.
