Program Details
- 12 or 24 Hour Shifts: 24
- Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: Yes
- Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions: No
- Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: Yes
- First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes
- Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: No
- Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: Occasional assistance, FP w/ Ob.
- Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes (OB/GYN ED Call)
- NICU Level: IV (60 beds)
- Maternal Designation: level 2
- Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 108
- Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 10-15
- Estimated Daily Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries): 6-8/shift (includes OBED)
- MFM onsite? Yes
- Residency Program & Type? FPOB
- In-house Anesthesia? Yes
- Other specifics: Affiliation with Baylor College of Medicine. Gold-level Beacon Award NICU staff. Cross-credentialed typically with CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Westover Hills hospital.
