We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-experienced Locum Radiologist to join our innovative healthcare team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in radiology. The Locum Radiologist will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality patient care and will play a key role in the ongoing development of our radiology services. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment where you can truly make a difference to patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert radiological consultation as part of the patient care team.
2. Interpret and report on radiographic studies, including but not limited to mammograms.
3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
4. Ensure the highest standard of patient care and safety.
5. Keep abreast of the latest developments in radiology to enhance patient services.
6. Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain the highest standard of care.
7. Provide training and guidance to junior radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
8. Participate in research activities and contribute to the advancement of radiological science.
9. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Reads per day: 85
Cases:
Plain film, bone density, fluoroscopy, mammography (MQSA certified), ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine (general, musculoskeletal, cardiac function, SPECT), PET scan.
Mammography reading is required.
Daily Volumes:
General (plain film) - 90-100
Bone Density - 5
Fluoroscopy - 1-2
Mammo - 25-30
Ultrasound - 25-30
CT - 50-60
MRI - 20-25 (General:15/day, Neuro: 2-3/day, Joint MSK MRI: 3-5/day, MRA: 1/day)
Nuclear Medicine - 1-2
PET scans - 3-5/week
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
EMR: Epic

- Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
- Active Wisconsin license or IMLC
