Job Description:
The Logistics Coordinator at the OCONUS facility will oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations for a secure Government program. The candidate will coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of Information Technology (IT) parts from multiple IT vendors and assure that the C-O-C requirements are fulfilled with each order and shipment.
The candidate must be proficient with communication and negotiation skills. They are also well-versed in supply management principles and practices. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, possess great record-keeping abilities, and a focused customer-oriented approach.
The goal for the position is to ensure smooth operations for a variety of secure Government logistical channels.
Responsibilities
• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints
• Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
• Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively
• Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
• Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g. deliveries, truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements
• Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
• Communicate with suppliers and customers to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
• Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders, etc.
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management
Requirements
Candidate will have the following qualifications and skills to perform the Services:
• Requires a Top Secret/SCI level clearance with Counter Intelligence (CI) Polygraph
• Candidate is required to take Medical and Psychological exams per the Government requirements as applicable.
• Requires at least 1.5 years' experience with C-O-C (Chain-of-Custody) processes and procedures
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Experience as logistics coordinator or manager
• Experience in customer service
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
• Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be willing to relocate to Europe (specific location details to be revealed in an interview with the candidate).
Nice to have skills
• Understanding and processing of secure customer Military Transport Request (MTR) paperwork
• Understanding and coordination with the Military Transportation Courier (MTC) group
• Hazmat shipping and handling for the US Government
• Counterfeit Prevention Awareness Certification from Defense Acquisition University
This role will require the candidate to be willing to relocate to the UK. Role will be on-site 5 days.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivery of assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of a project.
- Understands a broad spectrum of the company's technology in order to deliver part of a detailed technical design, which meets customer requirements.
- Tasks may include installing new systems applications; updating applications, firmware, and drivers; creating boundaries for as well as performing configuration and testing activities; applications programming for assigned modules within a larger program; assisting in the preparation of technical presentations and demonstrations; and participating in customer meetings.
- Works with minimal direction from the technical lead and with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Contributes to design for specific deliverables and assists in the development of technical solutions.
- Participates as part of a team and maintains good relationships with team members and customers.
- Understands the company strategy and the role that the individual plays.

Education and Experience Required:
- 3 - 5 years of technical experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, two additional years of relevant professional experience (5-7 years in total).
Knowledge and Skills:
- Has sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the implementation of a specific deliverable.
- Able to contribute to the design for deliverables.
- Has ability to perform/drive resolution of problems on individual products.
- Able to communicate broad and specific concepts with team and to peers.
- Able to produce documentation for use by team and customer.
