Description:
- About the Role We’re looking for a Logistics Specialist who will be responsible for helping build and maintain our delivery data and oversee vendor delivery execution.
- The Specialist will gather logistics data on a regular basis and in a timely manner for a particular set of vendors and may contact vendors as needed.
- The Specialist will work with other teams to identify, root cause and resolve vendor/local delivery issues.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify, ingest and update data for assigned vendors in a timely manner.
- Identify and root cause vendor/local delivery issues Contact vendors to resolve issues and update delivery schedules as needed.
- Escalate complex issues to supervisor to resolve, Respond & action requests from other teams to update inaccurate merchant data.
- Collect merchant-supplied item-level data and match to internal company item numbers and descriptions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred 2+ years of experience with data entry and/or analysis.
- Excellent Excel skills (SQL preferred).
- Strong ownership mentality, Detail-oriented and organized Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
