About the Job
JOB ROLE:
As a LOGISTICS MANAGER at LOGISTIFY , you will be responsible for supporting, managing and working alongside Client Development Specialists who handle servicing each of our clients transportation needs. Your knowledge and relationship building in this industry will be extremely important. Not only do you need to bring in a wealth of knowledge, but also be ready to learn.
TASKS:
- Effectively communicate with customers to build and maintain ongoing relationships.
- Manage daily shipment activities, resolving issues to ensure pickup and delivery is on time.
- Provide and negotiate competitive pricing and rates.
- Input, update, and manage shipment information.
- Collaborate with Customer, Carriers & Team to guarantee each shipment is serviced properly.
- Assist with your customers billing and accounting responsibilities as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-5 years of transportation management experience.
- Leadership, Communication & Organizational Skills.
- Familiarity with the transportation industry and the different markets.
- Strong problem-solving skills, while being forthright about conflict.
- Ability to work with the latest technology.
