Logistics Support Specialist at STS Technical Services

STS Technical Services is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Support Specialist to join our team in Anniston, AL. This role is crucial for supporting logistics functions by preparing documentation, managing materials, and ensuring that necessary tools and equipment are available and properly maintained. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare logistics documentation for spares, tools, and equipment deployment.
• Determine required maintenance materials and update records for complex equipment.
• Develop requisitions, manage records of equipment and repair parts, and track materials for proper storage allocation.
• Review configuration changes, update technical manuals, and assess logistics impact.
• Coordinate the verification, inspection, and receipt of incoming materials.
• Verify incoming materials against paperwork, document discrepancies, and report issues.
• Handle classified and hazardous materials per company guidelines.
• Perform shipping duties using manual or power equipment as needed.
• Utilize computer systems for tracking, logging, and reporting.
• Adhere to shipping practices, customer requirements, and packaging standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• GCSS-Army training.

Preferred Skills:

• Property book experience.
• Forklift experience.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of three years of experience with GCSS-Army training and AWRDS experience.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
