Job Summary:
The Logistics Team Member receives, confirms, and documents incoming shipments and organizes, oversees, confirms, and documents products
for internal storage and/or freight or parcel shipments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Receive incoming parcel and freight shipments, including loading and unloading trucks.
* Document building transfers as per company policy.
* Answer phone calls and customer requests as necessary.
* Obtain and prepares orders for parcel, freight, and/or internal shipments/storage.
* Prepare paperwork for proper documenting of the shipping receiving process.
* Verify & Receive items obtained via PO into Avanti.
* Maintain the company warehouses through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items on a real time basis.
* Adheres to and Maintains shared Logistic Calendar.
* Assist facilities/maintenance personnel with special projects as necessary at the discretion of management.
* Ensure all items are labeled and identified in accordance with company policies.
* Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems.
* Place merchandise in warehouse packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods.
* Inspect and documents safety concerns in accordance with company policy.
* Inspect relevant equipment and communicate concerns in accordance with company policy.
* Complete all other responsibilities and assignments as required to successfully achieve the goals and objectives of this position.

Education/Experience:
* At least two years of related experience preferred.
* Forklift operator certification preferred.
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
* Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
