Steely is looking for a like-minded individual to join our team as a Logistics Technician.

Candidates must be able to hold and maintain a security clearance, therefore U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Receives supplies, materials and equipment and checks against packing slips to ensure quantity and quality is correct and undamaged
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation in accordance with procedures
• Prepare products for shipment using most economical and efficient packing and shipping methods to ensure safe delivery
• Working with Manufacturing staff to ensure minimum stock levels and reorder points are maintained
• Maintaining clean and organized inventory stock rooms
• Performs timely and efficient movement of inventory and error-free entry of all related transactions into MRP
• Researches inventory discrepancies and communicates with team members to resolve issues
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience working with MRP software
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Experience in supply chain/logistics functions - material planning, inventory management, and transportation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• 5+ years work experience in a Logistics/Inventory Control position
